Strive Trading releases “Hanasou!”, a conversation translation app for iOS and Android

“Hanasou!” is designed for situations such as travel, shops, stations, hotels, and events, where users want to quickly communicate a short phrase to another person.

The app translates spoken Japanese into English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, then displays the translated text in a large format that is easy to show to others. It also supports translation from the other person's language back into Japanese.

In standard mode, speech recognition is processed on the device, and only the recognized text is sent to the server. When users explicitly select high-accuracy mode, recorded audio is temporarily sent for transcription to improve recognition accuracy. Submitted audio is not stored permanently.
