Hanaso Talk is a conversation support app that quickly translates short phrases and displays them in large text. Choose any two of ten languages and translate both ways — supporting face-to-face communication while traveling, in shops, at stations, hotels, and events. Available for iOS and Android.

An in-house conversation support app born from the field
Hanaso Talk is an in-house product from Strive Trading's Digital Solutions business. It solves a problem we face daily in inbound tourism and international trade — short phrases that just won't get across — with simple controls and large, easy-to-show text.

Two-way translation across ten languages
Freely combine any two of Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and French.
Large, easy-to-show display
Translation results appear in large text you can show directly to the other person. No automatic language detection, preventing unintended language switching.
Privacy-conscious design
In standard mode, speech recognition runs on the device and only recognized text is sent to the server. High-accuracy mode runs only when explicitly selected, and audio is never stored permanently.

Choose a language pair
Pick your language and the other person's from ten languages.
STEP 03
Speak and translate
Switch between "I speak" and "Listen to the other person" to translate short phrases.
STEP 04
Show the screen
Show the large translation to the other person and keep the conversation going.
